Level-5 Abby has officially announced an air date for Season 2 of YO-KAI WATCH, as the second season will premiere on August 1st 12:30 ET/PT. This season will have 50 episodes, doubling that of Season 1 with over 90+ new yo-kai and new hilarious stuff to watch! It will also introduce the new Model Zero Watch, allowing Nate to see more types of yo-kai such as the classic yo-kai.

12:30PM Timeslot, huh? Yeah, they’re doing the same thing they did with Doraemon. Ratings are gonna be pretty low after about a month given that most schools start in late August. I don’t want to see this die out like Doraemon did.
No, there’s a bunch of shows they’re placing in the early morning timeslots this Summer that are running through June and July and I’m assuming they’ll back up Yo-kai. Kirby Buckets, Future-Worm! (note: Future-Worm’s full series is actually premiering the same day so they’ll probably give that some spotlight), Counterfeit Cat, etc.
Just know that, unlike Doraemon, Disney XD at least shows care for Yo-kai Watch and airs reruns of it when it’s not airing new episodes. They’ve also shouted it out when the existence of the second season was announced. They never did that to Doraemon.
Are they going to dub the movie as well?
Well, I did notice some of the movie made it into that trailer…I hope it does as well as the other movies…
