The 3rd Yo-kai Watch movie 「空飛ぶクジラとダブル世界の大冒険、だニャン！」(The Great Adventure of the Flying Whale & The Double World, Nyan!) will be releasing in theaters in Japan this holiday season, beginning on December 17th, 2016! Get ready to ring in the new year with an epic adventure the likes of which you’ve never seen before!
The talented young actor 南出 凌嘉 (Ryouka Minamide) will star as Keita Amano, teaming up with a “live action” CGI Jibanyan in this third great adventure for our young hero and all his yokai friends. They will be busting out of the mold by combining both animation and live action elements!
There may also be special Dream Medals featuring some of our CGI-ified yo-kai friends, starting with a CoroCoro exclusive “Real Jibanyan” medal coming this August!
Finally, in this movie, we’ll also be meeting a brand new yo-kai, Koalanyan (you’ll read more about him in our next CoroCoro article)! Your favorite Yo-kai are all coming to life in December, if you’re in Japan, don’t miss it!
